Verizon Grapples with Major Wireless Service Interruption Impacting 100,000 Customers

Verizon Communications Inc. is racing to restore a major wireless service outage affecting about 100,000 subscribers. In a statement, the company said it has been working on fixing the issue that started early Monday morning, and which has been seriously affecting users throughout several states, on both phone and data services.
