Ampere Computing, a leading producer of semiconductor manufacturing is currently researching the possibility of a sale. One of the main shareholders of the company, Oracle Corp. is exploring alternative strategies to increase the company's market share. As a result of the new move, the company could join the growing trend of restructuring of the semiconductor industry brought about by the growing demand for technological solutions and chip technology. Insider reports claim that Ampere is not really at that point and has not yet decided on which option they want to pursue. In fact, the company is in the beginning stages of a sales assessment, and they are using the services of the bankers to establish every possible success of this deal should it happens.
